9608 Silique Julien II A/ DN IVLIANV-S NOB CAES, buste drapé et cuirassé à droite, tête nue, R/ Anépigraphe, étoile dans une couronne de laurier, ANT à l’exergue – Antioche – 355/360 – RIC.187 (R2) – 18,46 mm / 1,94 g - Silver, 1.94 grams, 18.46 mm. Antioch. 355-360 AD. Obverse: DN IVLIANV-S NOB CAES, bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: no legend, star within wreath. Mintmark ANT in exergue. RIC VIII Antioch 187; RSC 172c; cf Sear 4060 (Arles). Good extremely fine, chip to edge. A significant coin which has been published on wildwinds.com NB. CNG sold one back in 2002 but that was very poor. We cannot find any others online in Coinproject, CNG or Coinarchives so it must be rarer than RIC states. It is rated R2 in RIC but as far as I can see after searching pages and pages there are only 3 actual (unbroken) coins online: the CNG one (which is used on about 6 different pages) and the two on wildwinds including this one.
